![]() ![]() If you've ever seen any gradients in my stuff, blended markings, or blended shading I use this brush. *Brush Base: I don't think this is really any different than the default Water Color brush that SAI comes with? can't remember if I've changed anything *Stabilizer: usually 5, but sometimes more sometimes less. I think it just looks nicer and also kind of modeled it after the writing brushes of one of my fav artists, PandaLynn/ButtBear. ![]() I like to write with a brush that doesn't have pressure sensitivity for the width. *Brush Base: also use the Pencil brush for this brush's base haha I try to shoot somewhere in the middle at around 3 *Stabilizer: 0-5 since I write pretty quick and too much stabilizer makes it wonky. *Size: depends on what size writing I'm doing This brush isn't quite as harsh as the default Pencil brush you get with SAI, but it's still nice and clean. *Brush Base: I also used the Pencil brush for this brush's base *Stabilizer: 10-15 is used unless I need to draw a long sweeping line, then I use S-7 *Size: usually 2-4 depending on the size of what I'm drawing and for tags I use 1 or lower Occasionally I'll use it for lines, but not too much. I still use it for base coloring and shading. I used to use this brush for lining a lot, but now I like the harder lines a bit more. *Brush Base: you would use the Pencil base to make this brush using these settings I usually use 5 for most things now because I feel that it gives everything a much smoother look than just 0 *Size: depends on how big the picture is that I'm shading and basically just what would be convenient at the time I hope that these settings help you and let me know if you have questions! Sorry it's messy and rushed, but I'll type the descriptions down here in case it's hard to read. Warning, start-sai.So I really don't use that many different brushes in SAI lol But people have asked me what my settings are so I'll put 'em up :3 If you use them, comment here with where you used them! I always love to see what people create with my brushes. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy these! But using Bark at 100 can produce a splatter effect, which is pretty cool. For example, I like to use the Script brush at 100, and I like to use the Bark brush at 50. Different brushes work better under different settings. See that little number right next to the brush drop down menu? Play around with that. More detailed instructions can be found in the Read Me, PLEASE read that before asking me! I am NOT a master of SAI, and generally, I have no answers to your problem! I'm really sorry!Ģ. There's only 4 of each, but I figured I'd share it anyway, since it could be useful I decided to create some brushes and textures out of my pastel drawing ( ). ![]()
